emu spa

Meet Widgie and today, along with her beautiful breakfast, topped up water bucket and pond,she had a bath.
Usually reasonably svelte...if an emu can be svelte...by the time she had plonked in a pool of water, stuck her face into the spraying hose and lolled around leaning from side to side she was saturated.

And yes when an emu has bath, she gets up on those wonderful gnarly feet and shakes...just like a labrador!

Not the best pic in the world but as I will now be looking after Widgie on my morning shift, there is potential for better!
