Living in the Past

My lounge, ready for Christmas. Well, very similar to our lounge when I was a child in the late 1960's with the Christmas Radio Times, table decoration, paper chains on the ceiling (I've chopped them out of the picture unfortunately) etc. But where is the highly dangerous Blue Peter Advent Crown that we made from coathangers? I saw this room in the Geffrye Museum this afternoon, where they had decorated the period rooms for Christmas.

Those sofas and chairs look extremely uncomfortable!
