A forest

Our first full day at Center Parcs is beautifully crisp and bright. Although you know you're in a modern holiday resort, there's something very relaxing about being in the forest. Red squirrels and rabbits are scampering around just yards from the holiday lodge. Met up with the others - dad, my brother Tony and niece Dee-Ann - the evening before, and they seem to be enjoying it too.

The boys love spending time with the rest of the family, and Matt is especially enjoying his Grandad's company. At one point he says to me "Dad? I like your dad." which makes me grin.

Five hours in the water complex leaves everyone pruny but happy.
