Watching the detectives
One of the highlights of the boys' day is their Woodland Detectives session, where they get to dig in the dirt, handle giant snails and come face to face with a tawny owl.
The young South African guy who is showing them all this good stuff wisely keeps the kids entertained with talk of poo for the most part. But there's a great moment when a young girl asks if cockroaches would eat a human being. "No," he says. "Cockroaches won't eat you - not unless you're dead." At this point, he realises he's in a hole, but keeps digging, adding "But ... but that won't happen, of course. At least, er, not for ... erm, a very long time."
