old wives tail...

busy Monday ahead. lots of photo editing, and a tail to cook!

had a Monday morning lie in, must've been whacked after yesterdays long walk.

after breakfast, started with the tail! found a recipe in the old 1930's recipe book which looked easy enough to follow. boil and then blanche it, then boil it again with various vegetables......and 4 hours later, it's more or less boiled away!! added the port, and at least i'll have 1 decent dish full!

worked up til 9pm, and then off to bed. pleased with the pics i've done so far....more pleased with those than i was with the tail!!
