a wonderful weekend

a full on wonderful weekend! doing what i love....taking pictures!

first of all, need to mention last night, and our reunion. old alfreton gang! class of the early 90s!! we had a fab time and great to catch up with everyone...everyone still looks the same!!

no lie in this morning. Another photoshoot in Derby, and an even younger baby than Georgie to capture! great session, and lots of shots for me to plough through tomorrow.

back home, spot of lunch and then off on a mammoth walk with the special boy. i think we did at least 5 miles, maybe more. a glorious afternoon for it, wandering through Moorgreen Wood, or High Park Wood as i think it's official known. Crept over the fence to capture this shot as the sun was starting to fade. very difficult to stand at the waters edge, focus and hold an energetic beagle on a short lead!!

we wandered up and around the Felley Walk, and then cut through the woods onto Narrow Lane/New Road, after dodging many motorcycle scramblers making the most of the mud (Pete was scared by the noise!).

home, washed Pete, and then roast dinner. Made my ultimate dauphinoise...sliced pots, grated parsnip, grated cheese, finely chopped shallots, grated garlic, black pepper and salt, and double cream!! delish!!

off to relax now and i can feel i'm starting to stiffen up already!!
