Wren - Back Garden Nature

Sometimes you just get lucky I guess!

I was making my morning eleven o'clock coffee, when this wren flew into the garden. I grabbed the camera and kept on shooting as it got closer. Eventually it started picking its way along the ivy looking for tasty spiders to eat. It got closer to the "pub" nestbox. I was thinking go on, land on it... and it did ... and it stayed there!

So today I am launching a new campaign based on the RSPB's "Homes for Nature" ... I am calling it "Pubs for Nature" ... I think it is a goer!
