Traditional Thai roof at night
I have always been fascinated by all the Asian roofs. Thai architecture has its own definite style. Roofs are always intricately adorned with curves. Originally, it was a way to prevent the bad spirits to enter straight into an enclosed area. The curves were there to redirect the evil spirit back to the sky.
Tradition has remained untouched. Traditional Thai wooden houses and temples always display this type of roof.
I found this one particularly attractive as it was beautifully lit at night.
