Thai King's 86th Birthday

Yesterday, was a day of celebration in Thailand as it was the King's 86th birthday. King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) is the longest living monarch in the world as of today. The Thais deeply revere their king, whom they consider as a half god.
Although, the King actually reside at his palace of the seaside resort of Hua Hin, great ceremonies were held in Bangkok near the Grand Palace.
