oopes

Last night went for my last volleyball training session before Christmas to find we were playing 5-aside football.
Chasing a ball I tried to stop quickly, my feet went forwards my body went backwards and I broke my fall by landing on one hand.
Tracy took me to hospital where after x-rays they said there was no obvious breaks, but think it likely I have fractured my ?scaphoid bone? but it will only show up on a scan in about 10 days.
So in 10 days I've got to go for a new scan and we'll see. In the meantime, take it easy and don't drive. The first is impossible in the lead up to Christmas, the 2nd makes the 1st rather difficult.
At least I can type one-handed.
