Low tide at the sluice

This is where the sluice gate is that releases water off the fen drains into the sea. A storm surge is forecast for later so the gates will be open to allow the water to rise up into the river and drains. The problem is only if the gates cannot be opened when the water needs to run off the land after heavy rainfall. Fortunately, that is not the case today.
