Maggie's at Christmas

We are doing charity fundraising for Maggie's Centre at work, urging people not to send Christmas cards but to give a donations to Maggie's Centres instead.

Maggie's Centres are for anyone with cancer, their family and their friends are welcome to drop in to the Centre for a cup of tea and a chat with one of their information and support specialists, to browse the library or to access one of the courses designed to offer emotional, psychological and practical support.

I think I might well do this this year, as it is a good cause and also means I don't need to write and post cards!

In other news, we had a lot of tiles blown off the roof of my block of flats, which resulted me in holding on the phone for 4o minutes to speak to the insurance company!
