The wind has changed!
The wind was really strong today, but blowing in the opposite direction to a week or so ago when I took this photo from roughly the same place.
Blown about, but not uprooted as they were firmly anchored. Unlike the plastic bags full of recycling plastics that I saw when out and about earlier today that wee blowing down the roads like tumbleweed! (We have to put our plastics out for recycling in white or clear plastic bags)
I would rather be blown but anchored than be like tumble weed. Reminds me of a verse from the Bible in Ephesians 4:14-16 where it says:-
" ... Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. ..."
