Moon and Venus

A stormy night last night, dosed off with the wind battering my bedroom window, listening to a soothing voice reading out the shipping forecast on the radio.
Ages since I've done that, something relaxing and calming about it.
I think we've had a preview of all that weather can bring today
Wind, rain, sleet, hail, snow, sun.
Yes even a little bit of sunshine.
But it's really cold, not a day to do anything ambitious.
In comparison to elsewhere, Inverness got off quite lightly.
Only a light sciff of snow, but it's freezing over and making walking a little difficult
More wind forecast tonight and it's snowing lightly at the minute.
Pleasant surprise to see the waxing moon in earthshine partnered by Venus earlier this evening.
I've had a lazy day inside listening to the radio and reading mostly
