Nesssaintee's World

Winter is here

Winter is here, early again.
Always a conscientious season is winter.
Early to start and always lingers after it's time to ensure a job well done :-/
Temperature hasn't moved from -1C all day and it's snowed some more and the forecast is for more in the post.
My day?
A scary letter in the post, from the hospital, to go in for an op on the 17th?
After many phone calls to find out what it was for, I was told it was for another ERCP (I know not what it stands for, but it's not the worst thing I've had done to me this year) to carry out a stent removal :-(
I have known that I would have to get the stent in my bile duct removed somewhen, it was done a second time when they were playing hunt the rogue gall stone during my extended stay in hospital.
A subsequent scan showed that it had moved and was told that I would need to get another scan as there was no point in them "going in there" if it wasn't there.
I had an abdominal x-ray in October when I saw the consultant, but was not told the result of that.
Maybe this is why I have to go back in, I'm a bit concerned that I am going back as an in-patient.
I have asked about this and will get an answer on Tuesday hopefully.
It's another worry :-(
Hope that you've all had a good day
