" A Brand New Day is dawning, yesterday must stay"

Wow- what a start to the day!!
It was while I was in the kitchen at 7.30 this morning, I noticed a strange light shining on the edge of the garden. I rushed up to Matthew's room in the roof space, opened the window and this was the view. Unedited, only cropped to get rid of the edge of the skylight. It was as you see breathtaking.

Within 40 minutes it was gone and all that was left was a cloudy day. Quite extraordinary.

My thoughts are with you all up in the North of the country and Izzysparkle over in the East where the sea is running very high. Batten down the hatches for a rough ride. We only have a windy night here, although it has blown my blipped Christmas tree over. Drats.

Thank you all for your concerns on Adrian. We went to see him this evening and apart from his weight loss, he looked well and very calm. He was reluctant at first to sit with us but that could have been the shock of seeing us there. But I did get two hugs and he enjoyed me singing to him. We told him how much he is loved and that we all just want to help him feel well again. He did listen. Will keep you posted.

Feel exhausted tonight. Probably the emotion of it all.

Hope you have all had a good day. That Redflash enjoyed her singing in London tonight and that it went very well.

Davetherave was able to keep his garden looking immaculate and Mr Schorschi survived another wintry day in Bavaria.

Honeycombebeach chatted up another volunteer to pose in front of the lens and Bo has better weather than yesterday. You are all special people, sorry if I have left you out, but nevetheless, you are all part of my life and each one unique!!
