The Finance Department

We cycled back to Mr Jolly's bike shop this morning to get the seat support pipe replaced with longer ones but he had been unable to get any. Everyone rides their bikes in a very different position to the way we are used to riding at home. I feel that the low riding position is not good for our knees but we do get used to it. And we ordered bike with gears - unheard of here and we get a lot of looks .. well the bikes get a lot of looks and if we leave them parked they are constantly being played with .. which we don't mind at all. The biggest benefit is that they take the crevices in the roads well so we can ride over most things now which is handy when we cycle in the dark as you can't always see the potholes in advance of hitting them.

Anyway this man and I don't know his name is the man who does the accounts at Mr Jolly's bike shop. He is friendlier than he looks here! But can you imagine what a stock take must be like.
