Nelson Mandela 1918-2013

This is my small tribute to Nelson Mandela who died last night.

A giant figure on the political front on the world scene, he has been a stabilising force in South Africa since his release from prison in 1990.
He lead from the back, letting others believe they were in front.

We must hope that without him the ANC government can continue to keep the lid on the powder keg of corruption and inequalities in living standards between the black and white elite and the rest of the population.

It is too beautiful a country to have it slip further into corruption, violence and poverty.
