Sunset off Sunset Point

Looking at some of the other blips out there tonight, it seems the sunset was a popular choice of subject. And why not - the golden light that flooded across Lake Ellesmere/Te Waihora tonight was stunning.

My shot tonight is facing away from the setting sun though, looking across the rocks off sunset point to the spurs that jut out between Kaituna and Prices valley.

The lake level is currently extremely low, and to get your feet wet from sunset point you'd probably have over half a kilometer's walk. It's going to be a dry old summer at this rate.
