GREAT EXCITEMENT

On his way back from the evening walk with our dog, my husband came across this huge tortoise digging a hole to lay her eggs. The warm summer sun will help to hatch the eggs. We have seen the evidence of raided nests in the past where a mongoose has had a feast.
She looks very fed up with us and we tried not to disturb her. Will check up tomorrow.
