Aggie and Rene

It was the Christmas Fayre at Haydon Bridge Chapel this afternoon. Mum was in charge of the "Guess the Name of the Penguin" stall. Here she is with Aggie the penguin.

The closest competing images were of Widow Twanky (about 6 feet 6 inches and nearly as broad) cuddling Santa Claus, but I just like the way these two both looked at the camera and sparkled.

It's been cold and damp today but lots of Christmas fetes will have warmed the hearts of many.
