Year 40, day 34

Today we had the Feaster's birthday party. When I went to ice the cake I found we were out of lemons and icing sugar, so I was forced - forced! - to leave the house full of rampaging six-year-olds and walk to the shop to get more.

(There were other adults in the house, obv.)

I took some shots of the canal on my way home. I like the lines in this one.
