The White Witch

Sarah and I have been to Narnia at Chatsworth House. It was fabulous, really magical. I think the photo needs a large look.

And it was amusing watching the coach-loads of OAPs walking around in bewilderment at the decor - one moaned that it was demeaning for Chatsworth to be appealing to families!! We loved it.

Christmas song number 4 - I wanted a Brass Band playing this song as a couple of years ago I was at the Huddersfield Festival of light finale in Huddersfield when I heard this playing and had a really strong Proustian Memory moment - I was transported back to being 6 or 7 and playing it on the recorder in the school carol concert. It was a very powerful memory. Incredibly, the only brass band version on Youtube is a recording of that exact moment (in Huddersfield, not me with the recorder!) - Little Donkey.
