Favorite Lookout Spot

Yes, ANOTHER hummingbird shot. Ok, I'm obsessing....and procrastinating doing other stuff while I wait around snapping pictures of this cute little guy.

I went to the clothing store north of here this morning to return some shoes. I saw the fires! They were only a few miles away, as the crow flies. Getting awfully close to the homes there. Now the wind is kicking up. I wanted a picture of the helicopters dropping water, but I didn't take my camera so I didn't leave it in the hot car. 120+ degrees probably wouldn't be good for it!

We are safe, Mom. There's no smell of smoke in the air, so the kids will probably play soccer tonight.
