Dark, handsome stranger

This little chap (or chapess) appeared at Mum and Dad's at lunchtime and hung around for the afternoon. He or she was still a pretty young kitten, and very nervous - wouldn't allow us within about 5 feet. We gave him/her some roast beef and milk - think (s)he was probably attracted by the smell of the beef cooking!

We don't know of any neighbours with kittens (we've asked some) so we're not sure if it's a stray, feral or a very young roaming pet. We've left a cardboard box with some vetbed in it just in case it is feral and could do with somewhere warm to sleep.
