300 piece jigsaw puzzle

This has been day 1 of the big build - my daughter's big Christmas present. Today has been spent getting paint and glue (still need more paint); doing a dry assemble of the carcass, floors, walls, and chimney; sizing all the MDF with water/PVA mix; doing another dry assemble; painting (most of) the bits that need to be painted white - those window frames are a major pain! It's reminded me that I hate working with non-water based paints!

No glueing will take place until the white paint's fully dried. There may be further doll's house blips as I progress through the build!

Update on visiting cat - (s)he spent the night in the cardboard box outside, and came by for breakfast. I think (s)he's probably either feral or been dumped. Mum and Dad are trying to gain its trust but it still won't come closer than a few feet! They've been and bought some cat food so hopefully it'll get used to humans soon.
