Boney Texture
Yesterday several of us spent the morning learning about off camera lighting techniques. I've dabbled a fair amount in the last year, and was quite surprised that 5 of the 9 folks that came to the impromptu workshop had never used a remote flash. I think the morning was a success, and we shared lots of neat ideas and tricks.
My goal was to get a good silhouette of a skull. It worked, but I liked how much detail came out when I turned one of the flashes toward the skull, and left the other on the background.
