Note to self: your issue with the holidays is largely self pity. You so desire to have the perfect (clean) home and all the trimmings and a big family with children coming and going (which would probably drive you crazy) and enough money to send everyone you've ever met a beautiful card, make huge fruit baskets and 100 dozen cookies (and, of course enough time to prepare and deliver them); and since you don't have all that, and can't do all that, you have become a whiner (again this year) and you really need to get over it quickly so you don't miss the chances God gives you to be a blessing. OK? OK!
