DAWN

In the dry summer air of the Karoo there are no bright colours to herald the dawn. This was taken a second before the sun came up. Early start to a busy day.
I have been in combat with all the bugs in my vicinity. Mixed up a brew of vinegar water and liquid soap the give the ants on the citrus trees a bit of hardship. Added some citronella oil to spray into the hiding places of the mosquitoes. Icing sugar and borax in a fifty fifty mix sorts out the nasty creepy crawlies that emerge from cosy places like under the fridge. I place small sections of egg boxes containing this mixture in the back corners of drawers and odd places where they lurk and it is amazing how cockroaches and the like disappear.
