Monday: Slavonska 25 Kn

We had a leisurely start to the day before heading into town to take a look at the Zagreb Christmas markets.  There are a few dotted around town - cute, but small.  Someone was telling me the other day that it is still quite a new thing here and that every year they get a little better.  That said, it is still relatively early for them and more stalls will probably open in the next week or so.

It was a mild day so no hardship in wandering around.  Seen here is a Christmas stall favourite, sausage in a bun, for the princely sum of 25 kuna (about £2.50).

We will shortly be heading out to take M and L to the airport.........as ever, a great weekend with them.
