Entering the festive season

We don't usually do much about Christmas until about one week before Christmas Eve. However, most of our neighbours have had lights up for about a fortnight and all the surrounding towns switched their lights on ages ago. And...we wanted to cheer ourselves up this evening and have an excuse for clinking two glasses of a very nice Merlot...so, I put up the lights on trees by our garden gate. I have to say, it has worked!
