Iced Berries
The ice storm that swept up the Eastern Seaboard last night was savage and left a trail of mayhem.
After the storm the trees presented a great opportunity for blipping.
I would have loved to have tackled some macro photography with the ice enveloping the berries but no way was I attempting tree climbing....
So I thought I would try an experiment using the 400mm lens from about 17 feet, its minimum focussing distance.
The depth of field is of course exceptionally shallow despite the aperture but I think the overall effect does give some idea of the beauty of an ice storm.
