The S Word

After yesterday's ice storm we had our first proper snow of the season.
So off I trundled to my usual spot for photographing the snow as it's falling.
Taking the shot was the easy part today. As I was dismantling the gear I let the tripod slip and it crashed into my big toe. Not at all funny as it must have been at a freak angle because the toe split open just below the nail.
I said " Ouch. Oh dearie me that stings. " Or at least words to that effect.
Now I'm limping around trying to engender some sympathy.....
Anyway, hope the blip was worth all of the blood, sweat and tears.
