To Complete the Maintenance

This is the time of year, when the leaves are off the trees, when we have found that it is absolutely essential to go around the houses to check that everything is all right.

A surprising number of things can go wrong with properties and Eric and I have been round these two to check that all the gutters and traps are clear of leaves and soil.

Round the back we had to replace a couple of fence panels that had disintegrated in the storm of last week. Last year Eric had spotted that the upper gutter was not draining properly and he was certainly not going to tolerate my attempts to put off the work until next time!
