East meets West

Another fabulous day sightseeing. We river boat from Westminster Pier to Greenwich. The captain was our tour guide and pointed out the sites along the way. At Greenwich we toured the Royal Observatory, and stood on the prime meridian. As a child, learning about Greenwich, meridians and astronomy, I never imagined that one day I would actually be there. So cool! We also toured the National Maritime Museum.

On the way back to the hotel we passed through the theatre district so took in our second London musical. "Once" is also playing in Toronto.
