Morning mist

It was very foggy this morning with mist rising off the river. I could not stop on our way to school this morning (running late!) and by the time I came back the light was better but the mist had started evaporating. The same river scene that I have photographed before, but I liked the mist in the distance and the blue tones so could not resist taking this scene again.

A very busy week - I am feeling very tired and have just realised that I have had something on for the past 4 nights and have functions again every night of this week - apart from my book club meeting on one of the nights, they are all school related!

I enjoyed listening to the coverage of Nelson Mandela's memorial service by John Humphrys on Radio 4 this morning - I could picture the scene vividly and almost felt as if I was there. I do hope they have taken adequate security measures with all those prominent world leaders being present - a sick minded person let loose on that gathering could be a disaster of epic proportions.
