Whitby re-visited

After leaving Whitby yesterday we headed off to the top of the North Yorkshire moors to my most favourite pub of all time.. I spent many a night here when i was a teenager before i left home for the bright lights of the city and i have such fond memories of the place. It's since been extended to include a couple of restaurants but they don't detract from the character of the place, and the sizes of the meals hasn't diminished either!!
After a hearty breakfast we decided to go back to Whitby and finish having a wander round the shops and walk up to the enormous whale jawbones on the west cliff which framed the abbey beautifully. :-)
