Rural Perthshire

Walked in Perthshire today with the club. Had coffee and scones at Dunblane Golf Clubhouse, then walked across Tullibardine Wood, near Gleneagles Hotel, and on to Tullibardine Chapel, one of most complete and unaltered small medieval churches in Scotland. 1446 and rebuilt 1500.

From there we headed along an old disused railway track to Crofthead, then on to Strathallan Castle and out to Strathallan Airfield, where we were picked up by the coach.

We then headed to the Golden Lion in Stirling for a meal before travelling home.

Weather was good, with bright spells, mild for the time of year, and dry!
