Patience and Persistants

I'm needing today to celebrate my capable self, so here's my knitting project winter 2011/12. I'd seen this pattern many year ago, then came across It again in a book on traditional Aran Knitting. After the Betty Bliss disaster, this wool came from Swaledale Wools and has washed wonderfully.
I went today to have my knee Xray'd, the Radiographer was very kind and patient but I was rapidly reduced to tears as my knee was wriggled around and this after I'd taken medication before going!!.
