Stay calm everyone........

.....woke at 6.30am to a panic stricken Mrs Scobes; we'd forgotten to bake cakes for The World's Biggest Coffee Morning , schedued for 10am GMT.....I found myself seiving flour and icing sugar 10 mins later. I'm just a wee tad off colour after my visit to the Whisky Society last night, so it was a brutal start.

Elsewhere in the city The District have chosen our Scout Troop for a visit from 3 ladies of The New Town tonight. The 64th (Stockbrige) Group have been without a Scout Troop for a few years now and three game (and posh) Mums have stepped forward to reform the troop. Apparently our form of organised chaos has been judged a good model from which to learn the running of a Troop. I'll need to remind our lot not to cuss and swear......and that's just the leaders. I wonder if they'll be yummy mummies?
