The Bat Mobile....

.....lazy start to the morning. Nancy was out with her chums last night at Empires Turkish cafe, they started the evening with G&Ts at our flat and concluded proceedings with dancing and drinks in our kitchen after closing time. I was largely oblivious to the party as I've got man-flu (have I mentioned that?) and I was tucked up in bed.

Owen was told off at Judo this morning for not paying attention; he had it coming and reaped the just reward for his lack of attentiveness when he was dumped on his bum by a much smaller boy during the end of lesson bout. Much hurt pride and numb bum....he'll learn.

I'm bunkering down for an afternoon in front of the goggle box and some snoozing.....it's not too bad this man flu thing.

Edit: I was persuaded by Edwards' Eye and LLCoolJim to join them in the Victoria Bar for a couple of Punk IPAs at tea time.....VB is fast becoming the best bar in Leith. Not quite a rival for the Beard and Cardigan, but spiffing nonetheless. Back now for snoozing, some muzak and an early night.
