Today I was going to blip a photograph of the fantastic Christmas markets in Manchester. But I couldn't resist using this for my blip. It's only a selfie taken on my phone, but it sums up my day perfectly.

I needed a day like today, with my wonderful husband, who still makes me laugh more than anyone I've ever met. We shopped, went for lunch, shopped some more (a lot more, in fact), then hit the markets for gluhwein, wheat beer and bratwurst. It's been a fantastic day and I'm jam packed full of festive spirit and love.

Just what the doctor ordered.
