Catching up with the news

So 77 has got vouchers for discounted Sunday Times. With hindsight this may have been a mistake as with a 3 week old there seems barely time to take a shower let alone read a huge broadsheet newspaper and its bazillion colour supplements.

We had a new experience today, I took baby S to a thing called Motherspace, essentially a mother and baby group at the pregnancy and parent centre where I had done pregnancy yoga before the wee man arrived. So I sat in a room with 14 other mothers and their babies and at no point was there any peace at all. It was all a little bit overwhelming for both of us, but he did very well and didn't cry once while there and slept all the way home on the bus. He was also really chilled out in the evening for once, poor thing was probably just completely knackered, but it gave the 2 of us some peace so I will take him back again next week!
