Wholesome Poulsom

Film buff

So as part of the week of new experiences I took Baby S to the cinema this morning. The Odeon on Lothian rd do special baby and carer viewings, so we went off to see the Hunger Games. It was a great experience all round, there is plenty of space in the cinema for folk to part their buggies, they keep the light up for the first bit so folk can get settled and the 2 ushers came round and took peoples orders for tea, coffee, popcorn etc and brought it people in their seats. Plus there was free biscuits. The 2 usher ladies were lovely and fussed over all the babies and you were really made to feel welcome. It was also great to be in a place where you weren't on edge if your baby started wailing as at any one point with about 60 babies in the place one of them was always having a cry.

The best part was coming out and actually having something non baby related to talk about to people....almost makes you feel like a normal member of society again!
