Mouse patrol

Back in the summer (wasn't it nice) MrB mentioned one of the things that needed to be done in winter was making the entrances, mouse-safe and in particular shrew-safe. Since it has turned cold I have constantly forgotten to ask him how? Guess I should google, which is what he wants me to do to make a "shrewd" judgement on which varroa treatment to use when (if) the temperature gets to +10°C.

For the moment have posted a duty rosta for the cats. Luis here has a few hours left befor Jerry does the night shift.

(I wonder if "shrew" and "shrewd" will throw MrB's English to Bavarian translation programme. Nice for me to get one back - he knows/can do, everything 99.9% of the time)
