On the way back

We had a very energetic walk today with the dog's good friend Freddie (+ owner, of course). Bud likes it because Freddie will play with him too, usually Poppy is the favourite playmate for most dogs we meet but in spite of being at least 4 times his size, good old, (well young really) Freddie will play chase with Bud.

The sky was amazing, we kept stopping to gaze at it. There were huge, threatening clouds inland but we stayed in a little bit of sun, which meant that the heavens looked even angrier. Then on the way back home I just had to stop the car to take this photo. There was a chink of sunlight lighting up a flock of seagulls on the shore. (Dogs were not amused they just wanted to get home for their breakfast, which I had forgotten to give them before we left.)
