Santa's come early!

Every year, two local charities come together to bring Santa around Royston. (granted he is only on a trailer but if it gives children happiness and gains donations, who cares.)

As I heard hin coming round while in the middle of dinner, so I had little time to prepare my equipment. The only thing I grabbed was my camera and my 90-300 mm lens.

This was my last photo I captured before he went out of sight. Originally I hated it however, when I put it into Gimp, it did something strange ( probs with the threshold) and this was the outcome.

I knew when I was shooting, I had issues with light levels. I believe I used an ISO of Hi, f number of 4.5 and a shutter speed of 160fps. I would of used a higher ss if I hadnt broken my tripod.

Overall I really like the final piece, despite the accidental genius. Opinions?
