Hotel tour

Another hectic morning in Nottingham. Breakfast with a journalist then I wheeled my little big suitcase up to my friend H's hotel. His family bought it last year and he's been tasked with the interior design.

He's worked so hard on it and you can tell! It looked great. The picture is of him giving me the guided tour including the lifts!

Then wheeled down to Starbucks at the station for a meeting with a university lecturer (and friend) about an opportunity for me to join the team for a term covering someone's maternity after Easter next year. It would involve 1-2 days a week as well as prep work. I really want to do it. The only problem? It's in Nottingham. It would mean lots of tricky childcare juggling and commuting. Not to mention giving up my day with Audrey a week :( Need to do some soul-searching this weekend.

Talking of which, it was unbelievable to be reunited with her tonight. I've had so many cuddles and she's been such good fun to hang out with.

Spent an hour sorting the house out after Daddy daycare. I shouldn't be mean as he did a great job looking after her but housework leaves a lot to be desired. There was stuff everywhere and nothing was where it should be. Things like the top part of the dishwasher was clean, the bottom part dirty. Order is restored now thankfully!
