Pastry time

Mince pie making time. Christmas is coming. I wish i could make that really crumbly pastry but it seems to be different every time. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow aswell as some of the mince pies have gone already. We decided to try one of the frozen Boxing Day curries today aswell - lamb rogan josh. When we froze it we were very unhappy with the flavour so today, following sisterly advice and with the help of super handyman husband, we added sugar, salt and coconut milk and it was scrummy ! Maybe there will be a party on Boxing Day after all if we can sort out the chicken tikka masala too.
