Looking from Dyers Pass to the Southern Alps

We had our last Friday Frolics meeting for the year this morning. It's been great getting to know J'Amazen, GingerNan and Spikes2013 better and to spend time photographing with them most Fridays and being inspired - I count it a privilege! Thank you all :)

I drove on up to Dyers Pass afterwards and captured this view over Christchurch City, westward towards the Southern Alps. There's a bit of a Northwest Arch going on above the mountains, but it never really came to much.
